As part of Doug Aitken’s cross-country Station to Station project, Levi’s invited us to create a digital artwork that explored self-identity through participation. The result was Make Our Mark—a living, data-driven sculpture powered entirely by user-generated content submitted via Instagram, Twitter, and SoundCloud.

Users answered the prompt “Who are you?” by submitting thoughts, images, and sounds. Their input was transformed into an evolving visual experience—a global narrative of infinite perspectives.

The result: a groundbreaking fusion of art, code, and culture, visited by over a million people in just three weeks.
